In my Tableau project titled "Covid Data Visualization," I visualized real-time COVID-19 data to provide comprehensive insights into the pandemic's impact worldwide. The project features interactive dashboards and charts that offer an in-depth analysis of COVID-19 data, including infection rates, mortality rates, and vaccination progress across different regions. Data Sources: CovidDeaths: This dataset includes information on COVID-19 related deaths worldwide, such as location, date, total cases, new cases, total deaths, and population. CovidVaccinations: This dataset contains data on COVID-19 vaccinations across the world, including location, date, and new vaccinations. Visualization Components: Infection Rates: I visualized trends in infection rates over time, comparing different regions and periods to provide a clear understanding of how the virus spread. Mortality Rates: By analyzing mortality rates compared to total cases, I highlighted variations across different regions and identified areas of concern. Vaccination Progress: Using data from the CovidVaccinations dataset, I displayed vaccination progress and coverage, showing the percentage of the population vaccinated in various regions. Interactive Dashboards: The user-friendly design of the dashboards allows for easy navigation and clear visualizations of the data. I used geographic maps to illustrate data points related to infection rates, deaths, and vaccinations across different regions. Time-series analysis provides trends over time, helping users understand the evolution of the pandemic. Key Insights: Regional Variations: My project reveals differences in infection and mortality rates, as well as vaccination coverage, across various regions. Trends Over Time: Through time-series charts, I showcased how the pandemic's impact has changed over time and the effects of interventions and vaccination efforts. Vaccination Efforts: I highlighted the progress in vaccination campaigns, identifying regions with high coverage and those that need more resources. Conclusion: "Covid Data Visualization" provides a comprehensive analysis of the pandemic's impact worldwide. By leveraging interactive dashboards and charts, my project offers accessible and engaging insights into the global impact of COVID-19, supporting data-driven decision-making for public health measures.
